The key distinction: membership includes services and eligibility—not an all-inclusive tournament season. “Included,” “discounted,” and “eligible to participate” are different benefits. This is independent research, not an Alliance quotation or insurance policy.

1. Annual membership costs

The official FAQ identifies these as 2027 fees, valid through August 16, 2027. The annual season runs August 17–August 16, not 12 months from purchase.

Individual membership

MemberAnnual fee
Athlete · 8U–10U$30
Athlete · 12U$42
Athlete · 14U–18U$62
Coach · 8U–18U$65

Team membership

TeamAnnual fee
8U–10U$0
12U Champions$0
12U Super$100
14U–18U Champions$100
14U–18U Super$200

Team and individual fees are additive. A free team membership does not waive player or coach dues. The division page cautions that team prices may vary by league; checkout and regional adjustments are not verified.

Individuals pay once per season. The FAQ says coaches working with multiple teams do not pay repeatedly, and transfers between Alliance teams do not require a new individual fee. Athletes and coaches can join as free agents; “free agent” does not mean a free membership.

2. Champions vs. Super

Champions

For state- and regionally focused teams. Separate standings, player leaderboards and recognition. National-event pathway: AFON and Regional Championships. The comparison also lists Super Cup qualifiers and Champions Cup.

Super

For nationally competitive teams pursuing AFCS and Super Cup Finals, in addition to AFON and Regional Championships. Qualification and event requirements still apply.

Same individual fees and core benefits in both divisions. This is a competitive classification, not a premium education or recruiting tier. Divisions apply to 12U–18U; 10U is not split into these divisions.

A Champions team accepting an AFCS berth must upgrade to Super. The baseline upgrade difference is $100. A downgrade requires review; a refund is considered, not guaranteed. Some division-page examples still reference 2025 and should not be treated as confirmed 2027 operating rules.

3. What belongs to each membership?

Athlete

  • Alliance athlete profile, results, season history, stats and awards trophy case.
  • National athlete database listing.
  • Free SportsRecruits profile for athletes aged 13+.
  • Academy education, webinars, drill resources and community.
  • Participant insurance, subject to policy terms.
  • Partner offers and recognition opportunities.

Player statistics and associated performance recognition depend on the team scoring and streaming with AthletesGoLive. Awards are earned or selected, not guaranteed.

Coach

  • Ankored background screening.
  • Abuse-prevention and concussion training.
  • Academy resources, practice plans, dugout charts and team budgeting/management tools.
  • Monthly Coaches Box discussions and archived recordings.
  • Recruiting-management resources and partner offers.
  • Advertised Digital Dugout access.

Required compliance must be completed before national events. Other sanctioning bodies may require their own checks.

Team

  • League and division registration, team identity and roster.
  • Team profile, rankings and result/stat tracking.
  • Event eligibility subject to qualification.
  • Team-management integrations.
  • Insurance eligibility once roster requirements are met.

A minimum of nine paid athletes is required for an active roster, COI eligibility, clickable team profile and rankings. All rostered participants still need required memberships.

Parents and families

The Academy describes parent webinars, recruiting resources and discussion spaces. No separate parent membership price was verified in the published fee schedule. Confirm account access rather than assuming an independently purchasable parent plan.

Academy and Coaches Box

Annual Academy access is included with athlete or coach membership. Content includes foundational and advanced drills, throwing, defense, hitting, pitching, catching, baserunning, mental skills, recruiting, practice planning and management. Coaches Box covers both on-field coaching and off-field organization/recruiting topics.

Digital Dugout: included, but availability unclear

Advertised features include roster invitations, game results, team rating, comparative stats, lineup cards, recruiting brochures and shared schedules. The public page describes beta access while also stating the tool is not yet available during season preparation. Operational availability was not verified inside the member portal.

Other directory partners include Bownet, DeMarini, EvoShield, Louisville Slugger, Pocket Radar, PitchCom, SixFour3, NTangible, Synergy, OnDeck, Pelotero, Players Health, EchoFlag, Natasha Watley Foundation, The Yard PNW, The Softball Motivator Brand and Youth Sports Nutrition. A listing alone does not prove a free product or a specific discount. Offers may change and require member activation.

5. Insurance and safety

Players Health participant insurance is included. The public site describes practice and competition coverage, with team COIs available after a minimum of nine registered, paid players. Coverage applies to eligible registered participants—not automatically to unregistered extras.

The insurance page contains broad coverage wording as well as cautions about host requirements. Confirm with the actual tournament organizer and insurer; do not assume every event is covered without conditions.

6. Competition and events

The network has nine regional leagues: Atlantic Coast, Central, Heart of America, Northeast, Northwest, Pacific Coast, Rocky Mountains, Southeast and Texas. Teams normally register in their home territory; exceptions require the league-change process.

Not covered by the annual dues budget

Tournament entry, travel, hotels, meals, spectator charges where applicable, optional camps, uniforms/equipment, premium partner subscriptions and outside-sanctioning requirements. The Oklahoma Super Cup page explicitly states WCWS tickets must be purchased separately.

A complete current event-entry fee schedule was not verified. Super Cup pages contain inconsistent age/format descriptions and a date typo; confirm event details with the host rather than relying on those inconsistencies.

7. Team cost model

Published national rates are built in. Add your own annual extras to explore a budget. Changes stay on this page only; this is not a quote, checkout or shared database.

Extras default to zero because current prices were not verified. Do not mistake zero for “included.” Avoid charging the same coach’s annual dues to multiple teams.

14U–18U Super$1,139$94.92

8. Business-model analysis

Interpretation, not Alliance financial disclosures. The model combines individual dues, team/league fees, a competitive network, education/digital tools and partner offers. Public pages do not establish revenue, margin, sponsorship value or the economics of any partner agreement.

Value proposition

Low annual entry pricing bundles insurance, learning, exposure, recognition and discounts. Recurring competition and accumulating profiles give families reasons to renew.

Friction and limitations

Multiple platforms, roster matching, registration/compliance steps, member codes and scorekeeping/streaming requirements mean paid membership is not the same as activated value.

Lessons for Pivotal

Separate included services from discounts and eligibility. Make onboarding simple, show full annual costs, track benefit usage and avoid overstating recruiting outcomes or dollar savings.

Useful financial baseline: a 14U–18U team with 12 players and 3 coaches pays $1,039–$1,139 in national membership fees, before competition and operating expenses. The extra $100 for Super primarily changes the competition pathway, not the core individual benefit package.

9. Sources and research boundaries

Reviewed public Alliance pages on October 4, 2026. This report is a broad core-offering review, not a claim that every archive, regional checkout or member-only page was audited. Exact premium partner rates, event fees, insurance policy terms and Digital Dugout operational availability remain unverified.
